What We Do

The ESC Calgary branch was established in 1990 and has 67 trained professionals serving 1,100 sites in Southern Alberta. Some customers, such as the Lethbridge Hospital (Chinook Health Region), Rim Rock Hotel, Fortis Alberta, TransAlta and the Royal Tyrrell Museum, have been with us since the beginning. Other customers such as SAIT, Calgary International Airport, The Calgary Board of Education, Morguard Investments and Lethbridge College have been added to our list of satisfied customers in the last few years.

We provide a full range of controls services to our customers.

Our experienced technicians are true system integrators, providing service and expertise not only for Delta Controls, but also for other major controls manufacturers. We have proven ourselves as the local leaders in integrating multiple manufacturer control systems into the enteliWEB system, and in servicing the installed base of other controls manufacturers.

We provide added value to many of Calgary’s major facilities, including full-time maintenance at SAIT and the Calgary International Airport (YYC). The new expansion and renovation of the YYC Airport will make this site one of the largest BMS installations in Calgary, with over 10,000 connected points. Using the latest technology, we implemented the first Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) solution in Western Canada at Oxford’s Eau Claire Tower in downtown Calgary. The Manulife tower, also in Calgary, will be the second such installation. Our other office clients, such as the Palliser Complex and ATCO Commercial Centre, incorporate CopperTree Analytics to ensure their sites continue to perform years after construction. Multiple-site customers, such as the Wild Rose, Palliser, Rocky View, Golden Hills and Red Deer Catholic School Districts, along with our municipal customers, all benefit from our web-based facility management software.

“Doing it Right” includes our participation within our community and professional organizations. ESC Calgary supports local ASHRAE, MCA, IFMA and BOMA functions, and also provides sponsorship in various fundraising events for institutional and charitable organizations.
